ACORNS CHILDREN'S HOSPICE
TRUSTAcorns is a purpose-built children's Hospice which provides a variety of
services to families of children and young people who are not expected to live
to adulthood. Services, which are provided free of charge, include the
following. - Respite care, (including family accommodation), depending on a particular
child's needs.
- A community team of Home Support Workers who undertake home visits offering
emotional, social and practical support to the whole family.
Referrals can be accepted from any family living in the West Midlands,
Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Hereford or Worcester. Acorns also produces written information, videos and other materials
detailing the work of the organisation.
