The Arachnoiditis trust is a charitable organisation formed from a self help
group founded in 1987. The trust provides help and information on the causes
and research into Arachnoiditis from all over the world. Resources available to members of the trust include: - Fact sheets Video and audio tapes which describe the condition
- A specialist pain management nurse available for individual members
queries
- A benefits advisor to help with claiming DSS benefit entitlements
- A helpline 24 hours (answer machine out of hours) Information about local
support groups in all areas of the country and abroad
The trust produces a newsletter 4 times per year containing letters,
contacts, articles and general help and advice. There is an annual general
meeting held each year with guest speakers on Arachnoiditis and pain
management. There is a subscription for membership but free membership can be
