The British Medical Acupuncture Society (B.M.A.S.) is a group of over 1,000
doctors and dentists, who practice acupuncture. Members of the society are all
medically qualified. The B.M.A.S. promotes the use of medical acupuncture and scientific
understanding through education and research. It runs regular training courses
for doctors, supports research work, and publishes a regular acupuncture
