THE BRITISH BRAIN AND SPINE FOUNDATION

The British Brain and Spine Foundation is a registered charity involved in medical research into neurological disorders and in providing information and training to the general public and health professionals. Its main activities are as follows:

  • Raising funds for vital medical research into neurological disorders.
  • Providing information booklets about specific disorders to patients, GPs and other health professionals.
  • Producing training videos for medical schools.
  • Working with schools to provide children with information about their own bodies.
  • Providing opportunities for GPs to continue their training in neurology.

The BBSF produces a regular newsletter, Brainwaves, and a large number of publications (available from the above address) on neurological conditions including the following:
