BRITISH BRAIN TUMOUR ASSOCIATION

The BBTA is a charity formed in 1993 by Roy Grainger in honour of his daughter who died as result of a brain tumour. The BBTA's aims are as follows:

  • To provide information to help patients and families who are suffering from the effects of a brain or spinal tumour.
  • To promote public awareness of this devastating disease and its treatments.
  • To develop and set up support groups across the country.
  • To fund and promote medical research to help find a cure for this disease and end the suffering it causes.
  • To form liaison with like-minded groups around the world, to exchange information and goodwill.
  • To raise funds to accomplish the above aims.

Roy Grainger's book A Comprehensive Guide for Paediatric and Adult Patients with Brain & Spinal Tumours is available direct from the Association or from bookshops.
