BRITISH WIRELESS FOR THE
BLIND FUNDThe British Wireless for the Blind Fund supplies a choice of high quality,
easy to use, audio equipment on free permanent loan for life to UK-registered
blind people - over the age of eight and living in the United Kingdom - who are
in need. The Fund also undertakes to service, repair and replace equipment
whenever necessary. The equipment provided is designed to be sturdy, reliable and capable of
giving years of trouble-free service. Sets are distributed via a network of
over 300 local agents acting on the Fund's behalf - these include Voluntary
Associations and Social Service Departments, together with their volunteers and
helpers.
