CHILDHelpline for people with infertility related problems. CHILD's members comprise mainly couples undergoing infertility treatments,
or those who have faced infertility in the past, and continue to support the
organisation. CHILD has the following aims. - To provide support, counselling and information to those suffering the
effects of infertility.
- To encourage the exchange of information and mutual support between couples
themselves; eg by setting up local support groups.
- To promote public awareness as to the extent of infertility in the UK and
the severe impact it can have on a couple's quality of life.
Callers ringing outside office hours (9am – 5pm) are given the
telephone number of the duty helpline worker.
