ELIZABETH FOUNDATIONThe Elizabeth Foundation is a registered charity for pre-school children and
their parents. It was founded by parents following their struggle to seek and
obtain diagnosis for their daughter who was born profoundly deaf. The
Foundation provides the following:. - A unique Family Centre for pre-school deaf children and their families.
- A parent-infant programme for children from 0-2 years and nursery education
for children from 3-5 years.
- A music studio where children learn to listen through musical vibrations.
- A counselling service giving help, guidance and support to parents.
- A correspondence course for families of deaf children throughout the UK.
- A direct referral, Early Detection of Deafness Clinic where over 1500
babies and young children are tested every year.
