FELLOWSHIP OF DEPRESSIVES ANONYMOUS

The Fellowship of Depressives Anonymous is a national association of people with experience of depression who believe that by collaborating they can help themselves and each other by the written word and by meeting together. The meetings may be serious but are not depressing. As a mutual aid/self help association the aim is not to offer a service but to co-ordinate those wishing to help themselves and others.

Enquiries are welcome from anyone interested in this kind of group - depressives, ex depressives, friends, relatives and professionals. Local groups exist in some areas where members meet regularly to support and encourage each other.

Activities for members include: a quarterly newsletter, national open days, and penfriend scheme. Membership is £10 (correct March 1999). Contact the above address for full details.

Contact by letter is preferred as there is a single phone line which is often busy.
