FORESIGHT

Foresight was formed in 1978 with a dual objective: Firstly to safeguard the health of the unborn child by promoting preconception care. Secondly, to promote the study of aspects of the environment upon preconception health.

Preparation for pregnancy can do much to ensure the safety of the future child by optimising the health of both parents before conception. This maximises the chances of a healthy sperm, ova and uterus, and thus pregnancy, optimising the chance of the birth of a healthy baby.

Foresight has worked for 14 years to put together a thoroughly researched preconception programme. The organisation will provide information on nutrition, natural family planning, advice on smoking, alcohol, testing for genitourinany disease and supplementation programme.
