HYPOTHYROIDISM SUPPORT
GROUPThe group started in 1985 after the birth of the founder's second daughter
when she was found to have congenital hypothyroidism. The group tries to give
hope to new parents in the same situation. Help and advice is also given to
adult sufferers of hyper- and hypothyroid problems. The group can try to match
them up with a contact in their area. Most of all the group aims to be very
positive. A children's leaflet has been written but funds are required to
produce it. This is a voluntary group so there is no charge for services.
