 | THE KLINEFELTER'S SYNDROME CLUB (UK) |
AimsThe Klinefelter's Syndrome Club aims to provide information, support and
facilitate social contact where sought, between adults who have Klinefelter's
syndrome & to offer a similar facility to their partners. Members of the Klinefelter's Syndrome Club aim to work together to improve
understanding of Klinefelter's syndrome by the general public and those who
help people affected by Klinefelter's syndrome in a professional capacity. Members of the Klinefelter's Syndrome Club aim to ensure that people with
Klinefelter's syndrome are treated with dignity & not subjected to
discrimination of any sort because of the impairments they have. We aim to act
as advocates for people affected by Klinefelter's syndrome & promote their
self-esteem. We seek to promote appropriate medical and other treatments, and campaign to
further the interests and welfare of those affected by Klinefelter's syndrome. The Klinefelter's Syndrome Club is a club run predominantly by affected
adults for adults with Klinefelter's syndrome and their partners. It is a
non-profit making, voluntary organisation. Statement of good practiceThe Klinefelter's Syndrome Club is committed to providing all members with
equal provision of information and support whatever their gender, race,
disability, culture, religious beliefs, age, sexuality, class, economic or
other disadvantaged status. Whilst it is recognised that nobody is perfect and everybody has some sort
of prejudice, our aim must be to ensure that we offer the best services we can
and try not to prejudge others. Steve Hammett & David Dennison
