ME ASSOCIATION - SCOTLANDThe ME Association Scotland exists to give support to all those affected by
ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), and PVFS (Post
Viral Fatigue Syndrome). It offers help in the following ways. - By extending sympathy and understanding.
- By offering general advice and information on all aspects of the illness
and its physical and social effects.
- By disseminating authoritative information to professionals.
- By campaigning for the recognition of ME as the devastating illness that it
is.
By means of the above, the Association hopes to dispel the misunderstanding
and prejudice surrounding the illness and to lift the burden of proof of
illness from the sick and disabled. The Association produces information sheets and books. Contact the above
