MENIERE'S SOCIETYThe Meniere's Society is a registered charity, specialising in Meniere's
disease, and is supported by eminent specialists. Staff includes long-term
sufferers, so that knowledge is based on experience as well as theory. A helpline for sufferers (by telephone and post, as many sufferers are
hearing-impaired) is also provided. Members receive a comprehensive information
pack, quarterly newsletter and a contact list of fellow-sufferers, who are
prepared to be contacted. There are also local self-help groups.
