MS SOCIETY OF GB AND NI

The Multiple Sclerosis Society is a voluntary organisation that was founded in 1953.

Aims

  • To promote research into finding the cause and a cure for MS.
  • To encourage people with MS to come together in mutual support.

The Society provides welfare support for people with MS and their families. This includes producing information booklets and leaflets about MS, statutory services and other sources of support. There is also a fund providing financial assistance to individuals and families for things not covered by statutory authorities.

The Society has a network of over 360 local branches which are run entirely by volunteers.
