THE PROSTATE CANCER CHARITYProspects for People with Learning Disabilities, formerly A Cause for
Concern, operates as two divisions: Living Prospects and Causeway Prospects.
Prospects is a Christian voluntary organisation which values and supports
people with learning disabilities so that they live their lives to the full.
Prospects enables people with learning disabilities to live ordinary lives and
be accepted for their own sake in their local community or local church.
Prospects' activities are as follows. - Under the name Living Prospects it provides residential services in
locations in different parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland; all are
community based and many draw support from local churches.
- Also as Living Prospects it provides day opportunities with work activities
including craft, horticulture and printing and part-time and full-time work in
shops, a garage, bakery, nurseries etc.
- Living Prospects can also provide home-based support with its residential
service.
- Prospects enables and equips Christians and churches to respond positively
to people with learning disabilities in their own community by the support of
Causeway Prospects.
