SOCIETY FOR THE PROMOTION OF NUTRITIONAL THERAPYNutritional therapy is a complementary therapy which uses special diets and
nutritional products as an aid to the bodys efficiency and to assist its
repair. Specialist practitioners identify problems and prescribe individual
programmes. The Society believes that many chronic illnesses can be helped by
appropriate nutritional methods and aims to publicise the need for treatment
reforms and nutritional research. It also aims to create branches to work at
local level within the community. The Society puts GPs and the public in touch with local nutritional
therapists. Members of the public should send £1.00 plus SAE to receive a
list of local therapists (correct December 1998). Membership of the Society is
open to all for an annual fee, entitling the holder to receive a quarterly
journal and newsletter.
