TENOVUS CANCER HELPLINE

The Tenovus Cancer Information Centre provides emotional support and information on all aspects of cancer for patients, their families, carers and health professionals alike. Services include the National Freephone Cancer Helpline, staffed by experienced cancer trained nurses, social workers and counsellor. Telephone counselling sessions are available, as are one-to-one counselling sessions at the centre.

Patient Information Booklets are supplied free of charge on a range of cancer issues such as diagnosis and treatments.

Tenovus Support Nurses are based at a variety of cancer clinics in University Hospital of Wales, Velindre and Llandough Hospitals in Cardiff; East Glamorgan Hospital; Wrexham Maelor Hospital; and Oldchurch Hospital in Essex. Please contact the Centre for further developments in this service.
