Whizz-Kidz was founded in 1990. It aims to give the best quality of life and
maximum independence to the greatest number of disabled children through the
provision of specially adapted mobility aids. Whizz-Kidz is a large provider of
paediatric mobility aids. 1995 the charity supplied 367 children with special
equipment. Whizz-Kidz will provide equipment for any non-mobile child throughout the
UK, regardless of their disability. Every child's needs are individually
assessed by an occupational or physiotherapist to ensure that the most
appropriate aids are supplied.
