WOMEN'S HEALTHWomen's Health operates a UK-wide enquiry service providing information on a
wide range of topics including: abnormal smear, abortion, contraception,
infertility, donor insemination, fertility awareness, fibroids, genital warts,
HIV, HRT, hysterectomy, menopause, miscarriage, premenstrual syndrome, pelvic
inflammatory disease, pregnancy and reproductive technology, sterilisation,
thrush, heavy bleeding, osteoporosis. Some publications are available on tape. A publication list is available by
sending a SAE. The list is also available in Braille and on tape. Write to
Women's Health (large SAE and donation to cover photocopying costs please) or
telephone the enquiry service for leaflets. All enquiries will be answered by
women. Details of women's health groups, support groups, voluntary
organisations and individuals willing to offer help are available. If the
information required is not held in the centre, Women's Health can suggest
other contacts. There is also a large library of books, articles, news
clippings and pamphlets to back up the enquiry service.
